  • RFP for Emergency Services building door replacement for the Town of Groton.   Bids due July 2, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
  • RFP for Roadside Mowing for the Town of Groton.  Bids due 7/2/2015 at 5:00 PM.
  • Church Summer Suppers at the Methodist Church in Groton. Thursdays 5:30 pm until all are served. July 9th through August 13th. Traditional covered dishes by the famous "Church Ladies" - great eating! Suggested donation $8.00 adults/ $5.00 kids up to age 10 years.
  • Outdoor Growers Market - Saturdays 9:00-1:00 on the lawn of the Groton Community Building .... your favorite vendors will be there, with bells on for our "Ready, Set, Grow" market. Rain or shine.
  • Vermont State Parks and Historic Sites Passes Now Available at the
    Groton Library. Call or email the library to reserve a free day pass for up to 8 people in one vehicle to any Vermont State Park or Historic Site.  Vermont State Park pass (free admission), Vermont Historic Site pass (free admission), or Echo Center pass (discounted admission).
  • The Selectboard is currently reviewing and adopting Financial Policies based on the model policies of the Vermont League of Cities and Towns. To see the status of this work, click on "Town Policies" in the left column of this page.

  • Sat, June 20: Outdoor Growers Market - 9:00-1:00 on the lawn of the Groton Community Building .... your favorite vendors will be there, with bells on for our "Ready, Set, Grow" market. Rain or shine.
  • Mon, June 29: Cemetery Commissioners Meeting at Town Offices 6 pm.
  • Thurs, July 2: "Vermont History through Song" performed by Linda Radtke at the Veterans Memorial Park in Groton. This is a Vermont Humanities Council event hosted by the Groton Historical Society and the Library. Join us as we welcome Linda. The music starts at 6pm, feel free to bring a picnic, or enjoy some of the homemade goodies that will be provided. We hope to see you there!
  • Fri, July 3: Fireworks at dusk on Lake Groton. Boulder Beach State Park admission will be free starting at 7:30 pm. Fireworks sponsored by the Lake Groton Association. Rain date July 5th.
  • Thurs, July 9 - Methodist Church Summer Supper 5:30 pm until all are served.
