  • NOTICE: Special Town Meeting Thursday Sept 14th at 6:00 PM Town Meeting Warning

  • Tax bills will be printed and mailed out the week of August 27-September 2
    Taxes are due November 3 by 5:00pm

  • The Groton Listers are utilizing software by CAI Technologies to provide online tax maps and assessments for Groton. To utilize this capability, click on "Listers / Tax Maps" in the left column of this page.

  • Join the Groton Historical Society for a fun adventure on September 23rd at 9:30 am. Gather up a team of friends and family and then use a special map of Groton to find hidden symbols at places all over town. The team that finds all the places using the most direct route wins the prize. We will check odometers at the beginning and end of the Rally. At 1:00 there will be a chicken barbecue put on by the Fire Department, hopefully pizza from the new My Farmer's Market, pie by the slice and music at the Bandstand.

  • Thurs, Sept 14th: Special Town Meeting at 6:00 PM Town Meeting Warning
  •  Thurs, Sept 21: Groton Methodist Church Third Thursday Supper by the famous Church ladies!  Ham, baked beans, summer salads, rolls and desserts.  Come eat in or take out.  5:30 until 7:00 or until food runs out.  By donation. In the center of Groton on Route 302.
  • Sat, Sept 23 Groton Historical Society Road Rally @ 9:30 - see description above.
  • Sat, Sept 30: CVT Fall Foliage Bicycle Ride: This annual ride is held on the Cross Vermont Trail, from Kettle Pond in Groton State Park to Blue Mt. School. Details.
  • Thurs, Oct 5: Community Building Gym setup at 6:30 pm of tables, chairs and place settings for the Foliage supper. All welcome!
  • Fri, Oct 6: Annual Fall Foliage Book Sale at the Library, 2:30-7pm. A large selection of old books, like new books, hard covers, paperbacks, CDs, DVDs, & coffee table books. Sale is sponsored by the Friends of Groton Library and proceeds will benefit our library's collection & programs.
  • Fri, Oct 6: Veggie prep in the kitchen of the Community Building at 6:00 pm. Bring a paring knife - All welcome!
  • Sat, Oct 7:  Groton Fall Foliage Festival!
  • Fri, Nov 3 by 5:00pm. Groton Property taxes due.
