  • June 1st is National Trails Day this is the day when trails group throughout the country will get together to do their spring cleaning on their local trail networks. Trails Day Work Day Saturday June 1st from 9:00 am to 3pm at Blue Mt. School in Wells River. Spring cleaning of the Wells River Conservation Trails.  Trails Day Poster 2019
  • May 19th is Spring Paddle the Border this is our 16th year and we are hoping to see a lot of our friends we have made over the years, and looking forward to meeting new paddlers.  PTB poster spring 2019
  • May 17th Birding with Bill:  A bird walking tour of the Wells River Conservation Trails.
  • May 7 6pm (Tuesday).  Groton Historical Society - Old Tools at the Peter Paul House.  This year there will be several interesting programs happening at the Peter Paul House on the first Tuesday of each month, at 6 pm.  The first program will be about old tools.  Dick Montegue will join us while we explore the amazing collection at the Peter Paul House. You will see unusual tools used for cooking, agricultural, the granite industry, and housekeeping. Dick invites folks to bring old tools. He will help identify what they were used for. There will be Cake!
