  • Public Meeting by the Vermont River Conservancy at the Groton Community Building at 10:30 am on Monday, July 25, 2016. After meeting there the entourage will go over to the old Green Mountain Power dam site. This will begin the discussion with the town for the possible transfer of the property to the town.
  • RFP for Roadside Mowing for the Town of Groton. Bids due 7/21/2016 at 5:00 PM.
  • New Hours for Groton Town Clerk’s Office: Monday - Thursday
    8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Closed Fridays. Starting July 1, 2016 until further notice.
  • Co-Ed Outdoor Bootcamp Begins in Groton on Sunday, June 26th!Bootcamp is designed to get you fit, healthy, and burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time. Come sweat with us at the Groton Veteran's Memorial Park this summer -- Eight Sundays from 8-9am. FREE! Sponsored by the Town of Groton Recreation Committee. Led by certified personal trainer.   • Church Summer Suppers at the Methodist Church in Groton. Thursdays 5:30 pm until all are served. July 14th through August 11th. Traditional covered dishes by the famous "Church Ladies" - great eating! Suggested donation $8.00 adults/ $5.00 kids up to age 10 years.
  • 2016 Summer Parks Passes Now Available! Call, email or come by the library to borrow free & reduced entrance passes to VT State Parks, Historic Sites & the Echo Center. Open to all library card-holders.

  • Fri, July 22,1:30pm - Vermont Wildlife with the Southern VT Natural History Museum! At the Groton Community Building. A variety of live animals will be on-hand to put a face to the challenges Northeastern wildlife must rise to meet. Museum staff will bring furs, skulls & other artifacts for an exploration of our local fauna.   • Sat, July 23: Groton Growers Market Groton Famers Market every Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM on the front lawn of the Groton Community Building on Route 302 in Groton Village.

  • Sat, Sept 3, 5:30 pm - the “Sleeping Sentinel Concert” performed by renowned musician Banjo Dan at the Veterans Memorial Park in Groton.  Sponsored by The Groton Historical Society, the Groton Free Public Library and the Groton Recreation Committee.
