  • 2014 Town Report has been mailed to residents.  A copy is also available with past reports on this website - see "Town Reports" in the column on the left.
  • Geographic Naming Request  A group has submitted a petition with the Department of Libraries for a geographic naming request involving a peak in Groton. The peak they are talking about is next to Seyon Lodge (see attached). The petition was submitted by “Vermonters for a New Economy” and they would like the mountain to be named “Prosperity Peak”. The Board of Libraries has jurisdiction over geographic naming requests and they met and decided to wait for input from the Groton Selectboard. The Selectobard is looking for any input on this topic.
