  • The Groton Library’s online card catalog is “LIVE!” Come on in any time now for a new library card complete with an official barcode. Enjoy the benefits of our local library going online!

  • Round Robin Reading, a weekly toddler/preschool storytime at the Library, will begin in November. If you are interested in attending and/or volunteering to be a reader, please contact the Library. Day & time TBA.

  • Sun, Oct 26, 1-2:30 pm Halloween Party for kids at the Community Building gym.
  • Mon, Oct. 27, 7pm: Book Discussion at the Library of “Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books” by Azar Nafisi. New participants welcomed. Copies of the book available for borrowing at the library.
  • Fri, Nov. 14, 3-6pm: Groton Game Day at the Library! Twister — Scrabble — Mancala — Yahtzee — Connect Four — Chess — Uno — All ages are invited to drop in during the afternoon to play your favorite games in celebration of International Game Day (15th).
  • Mon, Nov. 17, 6:30pm: Young Adult (YA) Book Discussion at the Library of “Rotters” by Daniel Kraus. Join us for lively conversation about one of this year’s Green Mountain Book Award nominees. New readers (teens & adults) welcomed!
