Groton Reconstruction Report of May 17th, 2005

With all the activity going on, we asked Harry Chandler to keep a photo journal of events as they unfold. The following pictures were taken May 8, 05 and May 17, 05.

Work begins at the old Groton General Store.

Inside the store is gutted right down to the basement.

The old Lauzon house has been stripped to its bones. Looks like Summit/Catamount found more wrong than was expected. This is taken from behind the house.

The infamous Pancake house was the first to get leveled. This picture taken from the back shows the beginnings of reconstruction.

Take a good look at the Goodine home because deconstruction has begun.
