Groton has organized a Recreation
Department and is looking for interested citizens to be part of this very
important department. Throughout
Groton’s history Recreation Departments were formed when the town needed
special assistance. We had a Recreation
Committee when the community building was first built to coordinate hall
activities. We also had an active
recreation committee around 15 years ago that organized the Halloween party,
swimming lessons, volleyball tournaments, the Easter egg hunt and much
more.
