Leonard called the meeting to order at 7:04 PM.

 

Correspondence was read and Selectboard minutes were reviewed. March 23, 2006 Selectboard minutes were Not accepted.

 

Auditors presented pay rate scale for Selectboard.  The pay rate scale will be brought back to the next Selectboard meeting.

 

Representative Harvey Otterman presented his concerns about Seyon Ranch and what is in the works at the State level.

 

Frank Lapham questioned if the Selectboard had received any answers concerning the property behind Groton garage?

Letter will be written to property owner.

 

Dufrene and Associates and Olivia Beleau explained plans for the sidewalk improvements. 

 

Olivia Beleau spoke to the Selectboard regarding having Roberta set up a non interest bearing bank account for the grant money to be electronically transferred to.  Len signed the paperwork to approve the opening of the account with Roberta as the authorized signer.`

 

Jim Downing questioned if any of the Selectboard had read April 6, 2006 Caledonian Record concerning junk policy?

 

Jim spoke on his budget, questions concerning his places of surveillance and hours.

Selectboard asked if Jim would be able to work at these times, if he would and if he can’t just say so.

 

Brent: to late as it is 9:15 pm.

 

Roberta: please sign orders.

 

Linda: please sign liquor licenses, read results from school vote.

Linda: call from Marylyn Hatch Ruiter questioning if the Selectboard had given permission to park cars on Depot Flat? Answer no.

 

Dave Spencer: plans to walk the tracks to check what amount of trash is along there.

 

Brent: a couple of recliners have been dumped at the brush dump.

Leonard: Brent could you pick them up and put them some where until April 29th. Brent: yes.

Leonard made the motion to adjourn; Dave seconded the motion.
