There were many suggestions presented of ways to fix the problem.

Andy: will get a sketch to the Selectboard before their next meeting.

Dave: what about the keyoush talked about along Cross Vermont Bike trail?

Andy will try and set up an appointment with VTrans.

Debra: Brent just for your FYI, there will be a site committee coming next week to address the water problem in front of the general store.

Listers

Laurine Grant presented the budget for the three Listers for 2007 explaining it was about the same as last years.

Laurine: Lisa Lord’s trial period is up and she is doing well. The Listers have attended classes on data collection, land schedules plus the seminars in Fairlee.

Laurine: Kitty is working out well and has also attended the classes and seminars.

Dave: Linda will you contact Adrian Otterman and tell him to go ahead with the Martin Cherry case.

Dave: the Listers salary should be a varied salary and not everyone getting the same pay rate.

Leonard: Lisa Lord was accepted as a Lister and starting the next pay period will receive $8.00 an hour. Debra and Dave agreed.

Road Commissioner

Brent: went to the Water Resource meeting. Brent filled the Selectboard in on what and where they are concerning the water shed plans.

Brent: the paving on Goodfellow Road is done.

Brent: haven’t talked to her yet but haven’t seen any water lately.

Brent: we might be able to use part of the highway budget to survey the gravel pit.

Community Building Use

Linda: the Cub Scouts wondered if it is possibly to use the Gym on January 27th for the Pinewood Derby race and if the Selectboard would waive the fee for the use of the gym? The Selectboard waived the fee.

Linda: I was questioned what would happen to the different septic system piping that runs under the highway when the sidewalks are redone?
