Leonard called the meeting to order at
7:00 PM.
Community
Ideas
Paul and Mary Berlejung presented some
ideas to the Selectboard about ways to possibly bringing business into town.
There were ideas of a Farmers Market a Co-Op store maybe a Community Kitchen.
There was talk of having a Volksmarch or Volkswalk to go along with Fall
Foliage.
Lister Errors
and Omissions
Laurine explained about an error the
Listers were bringing to the Selectboard under errors and omissions concerning
the property of Robin and Huseyin Cavusoglu. The Selectboard gave the go ahead
on dealing with the error.
Debra made the motion to accept the errors
and omissions presented by Laurine. Leonard seconded the motion. Dave agreed.
Laurine explained the Listers had set
up a day and time to meet with Steve Trombly to go over the work from the
resent reappraisal.
Laurine reported she has gone onto the
listsev questioning other towns that are doing or have just finished reappraisal
about the appraisers they had do the job.
Dave and Debra discussed step increases
for the Listers. Listers budget $ 19,970.00.
Administration Budget
$85,400.00.
Stump Dump
Dave Spencer explained he had met with
Terry Dana and Brent Smith about clearing an area for the stump dump at the
newer gravel pit.
Dave explained there were many ideas
talked about and many ways that things could be done. This will be revisited at
a later meeting.
Roberta what will become of the gravel
pit when it’s used up? Dave: Harry Chandler would like to plant trees. Some of the old gravel pit will have trees
planted on it as long as the town leaves space for the Dart landing zone.
Fire
Department Gas Tanks
Brent has ordered gas tanks for the Fire Department from Granger.
Anything over $50.00 is shipped freight free of charge.
Ambulance
Contract
Ambulance Contract hasn’t been received
yet.
Selectboard
Report
Leonard presented a draft of the
Selectboard’s report to be given to the Auditors for the Town Report. Dave and
Debra added some ideas they felt should be added.

Dave: Patrick Shattuck is gone so are
looking for someone to talk his place on the Building Committee board. Names of
Wanda Peters, Henry Eaton, Jennifer or Andrew Dorsett were put out to ask.
Dave need to start putting together
sub-committees for the kitchen, building uses and would like to get input from
the Fire Department.
Next Community Building Committee
meeting is January 3 at 7:00 pm.
The next Ancient Roads meeting will be
January 14 at 7:00 pm.
LaBrie
An e-mail was received from Linda
LaBrie concerning the ditch on their property.
Need to give her a call to let her know
we can’t talk to her until we speak with our insurance company.
Lapham
concerns
Dave spoke with Steve Robalard he
explained there are different specs for different situations.
Iron Pipe
Linda: I have been asked if the concern
had been addressed, of the iron pipe driven into the Little Italy road. Leonard said he would meet with Brent and
they would take a look tomorrow.
Auditing budget $3,247.40.
Auditing budget and the town report
budget was reviewed and discussed. The pay of $10.50 an hour was discussed with
the auditing budget being set at $1,500.00 and the town report budget at
$3,130.00.
Leonard made the motion to adjourn.
Debra seconded the motion.
